The strangest test question I've heard of is:
Given that the sky is blue, derive Avogadro's Number. Show all work.

That was the only question on the test, it was open book, even open Library (as you you could go to the Library to look things up).

You know you're an old timer if you saw each of the Star Wars movies when they were first played in a theater. You're also a SF geek if you read the Star Wars novilization before seeing the movie (yes, it was printed first, "soon to be a major motion picture").
