Free antivirus programs? by Arivia2007-05-06 10:56:55
Most people suggest others, but I'd go AntiVir. by microchip 2007-05-06 11:28:44
AntiVir Personal Edition Classic is free, and absolutely rock solid. Minimal fluff, minimal resource usage, extremely fast, and just works. Free edition has one popup window a day (as it updates) asking if you want to upgrade to the premium version, which is clearly marked with the OK button to close it. Certainly worth it for a rock solid antivirus solution which is yet to fail me or any of my customers.
