are willing to take students based on work in trade. Meaning you do things for the dojo/school and the hourly rate goes towards your class tuition. My sensei usually had one or two people doing odd jobs for her to pay for either their own tuition or that of their children. So its not unfeasible to find an instructor like that. Some states have organizations that actually recognize good instructors. If you're truly interested I could ask my sensei if she knows someone reputable in FL. If so, even if said person isn't local to you, you'd have a contact who might know who the good instructors are and those who do work/study arrangements.
