question for UK Ufies by bobmon 2007-04-30 14:56:44
So, BBC in America is feeding a "LIVE" broadcast about a "Fertiliser Bomb Trial". Executive summary: most of the defendants apparently are being found guilty of most charges; one (young) defendant is found not guilty of at least one of the charges.

I'm just curious: what is the makeup of the jury in this trial? (Or am I completely off base in supposing there is a jury?) Any Muslims on it? Any people of mid-eastern descent? How was the jury chosen?

Just curious about the mechanisms of British trials.
