20 miles over the limit == jail time here to (here being NE). The fines scale based on the base speed iirc, but 20 over gets you in jail and the car impounded every time (unless you have a nice, friendly cop, I have a friend who just got ticketed for doing 80 in a 25, he knew the cop who pulled him over, still, it wasn't a cheap ticket)
