UFicle: Game Controller Help by FNORDer 2007-04-30 06:56:04
So I've been playing the Battlestar Game, but finding it kinda difficult with my USB Joystick, because the game engine (FreeSpace 2) was designed for use with an analogue controller. I've turned the sensitivity down to minimum and the dead zone almost all the way to the top. but this has done little to nothing to decrease the jerkiness of the controller.

My drivers are up to date, and I don't seem to see any options in the "game controllers" entry in the control panel nor the Logitech profiler for dealing with this issue. Does anyone know if there's a way I can make a modern joystick work with an older game engine?
