one strip can be picked to be in error and the other not. One strip shows someone identifying herself in the strip as "Pfeiffer", but identified in the transcript notes as "Hillary". The other one clearly has two separate people named "Hillary" and "Pfeiffer" in the strip, but without including "Pfeiffer" in the transcript notes. These two are obviously mutually inconsistent, but how does one decide which, if either, is "the correct one"?
Further, where the first strip has (if you are correct) Hillary identifying herself as "Pfeiffer" to a customer over the phone, this strip shows Hillary (identified as such in the transcript notes) identifying herself as "Hillary" in the same situation. Thus, the only support for identification of "Hillary" with "Pfeiffer" comes from the transcript notes, and at least one of those two cases is directly contradicted by evidence from another strip.
I think that the old Character Gallery used to have descriptions of the office staff as well, but I don't see them any more. |
