Up to now, you just roll a D6 to determine who starts the game. I'd propose that the player with the most computer experience can choose first whether he wants to play Sid. Regardless who has chosen Sid, the player with Sid has the first move (because Sid is always the first to appear in the office, as I remember from a strip long ago, when Sid was promoted to CTO).
