About car efficiency... (and re: Skippy and Tyop) by etwas_egal2007-04-30 00:07:38
  '89 Civic? by skippy-ish_guy 2007-04-30 00:48:48
What's the engine model? Also, are you carrying any extra weight? Can you get rid of any weight?

Hondas have a big following, especially the civic. Find yourself a decent Honda forum and see what people are doing. Some of them, despite the civic's reputation as a cocky kids' car, are finding ways to improve mileage.

Pulling up this month's issue of sport compact car reveals name honda-tech.com (I feel dirty having verified that), which has a forum set up for older civics. Surprisingly, most tuners have a decent knowledge of how to get more miles for your buck rather than just more power out of your little 4 cylinder.
