( If you recall, glass is not -really- a stable solid
( but is just a super-slow amorphic solid, which will
( slowly "flow" over time.
( For example: windows in buildings that are centuries old
( will be thinner at the top than at the bottom,
( because the glass has been flowing down, and
( changing shape slightly, to bulge at the bottom.
