Export the Bookmarks to a temp folder (I call mine "My Bookmarks - $Date", then export the WAB there.
It'll save you some time searching for them, and when you go to put them into the new location, (say, under a new profile or on a new system) just Import them from the files.
Sorry if I wasn't clear back there - my brain is all happy-sleepy satiated on an inch-thick Porterhouse steak, Diet Pepsi, Cable Internet, and the thought of *getting paid* to house sit / dog sit my friends' dogs while she's away...
(Which is why I got to eat steak, drink Diet pepsi, and ravish her internet bandwidth for my own twisted amusement...)
