Can someone double check my thought process please by Glytch782007-04-28 18:28:17
  Yes. by shadowsystems 2007-04-28 18:37:00
I do it all the time.
I used to save my WAB, Bookmarks, Email, PST's, et al to a USB memory stick.
I could roam from system to system, tell it to use a new account, and import everything from the 'stick.
Tell it to save all further info *for that account only* back to the 'stick, and then when I leave, the system reverts back to the default profile/account/settings.
The next time I visit that system, though, as long as I have the 'stick plugged in, it follows the config for that account - saving everything to the 'stick.

When you go to *move* the account, though, just make sure to shut down O/OE first or Windows pukes up those "This file/folder is already in use by another program" whiney bits. =J
(Don't forget to tell O/OE where to start saving the new data, otherwise it simply recreates everything in the old locations.)
