I can call them and find out if they've rec'd today's mail yet.
(It' nearly 1440Hrs PST, so they should have, but it's been known not to show up until nearly 1700Hrs, soooOOOoooo...)
I'm currently house-sitting/dog-sitting for a friend of mine, so I may have to wait until I get back to "home-base" before I can find a phone.
My friend is one of those "My cell phone is my only phone" kinda people & her place doesn't have a land-line phone anywhere in it.
But she's got Cable Internet, she stocked the frig with steaks, chicken, and Diet pepsi, & told me "That's in addition to what I'll pay you when I get home. Don't burn the place down, kick the hookers out before I get back, and if you stain it, you clean it."

So I've got a house to myself, four Dacshunds who are currently snoring on the floor at my feet (one of them is ON my feet), an inch thick Porterhouse cooking on the BBQ grill on the back patio, & I'm sitting in a comfy chair in the dining Area (I can watch the grill through the sliding glass door), my laptop in my lap, online via a 802.11g WiFi connection to a Cable Modem ISP with (evidently) no one else on the circuit...
I am *SO* in geeky heaven ATM... =D hehehehe
