Good More control over power Areo works smoothly Have managed to get everything I've needed to work so far, to work (Firefox & thunderbird went on before I did anything else). Gadgets look nice. Xp runs fine in a virtual box. Bad Gadgets are nothing new, had progs like them running in win 3.11 Too many pop-ups asking you if a program can do something.. Areo has nothing new. Areo caused black colourd panels in menu bars on some old programs, dissapeared when programs were maximized then restored. Permissions are not set so a program can modify files installed for it to use, well for old programs i've found this anyway.. Networking is messy, have to click 3-4 times to repair a connection. Horrid Start menu (its a list), but search feature not available in classic mode.. Permissions have caused incompatibilities, average user would not understand the error messages. Probably more problems to come but we'll see
