New Vista Laptop... Simple eye candy... by MrXavia 2007-04-28 09:20:38
Well got a new Vista Laptop... Dual core and 2gb ram, so technically atleast twice the speed of my old laptop...
So far nothing that special about the areo interface, although the 3d 'tabbing' looks good, i've seen everything else done on XP, and I was running 'gadget' type programs on win 3.11 in college!

BUT the new permissions have messed up some of my old programs, I've had to change permissions to get them to work, which is annoying and beyond the average user to understand by the error message it gives......

I dont see what is so special about Vista, runs like Win2000 with more eye candy and a few different windows and nag screens.

And I hate the new start menu! time to find a 'classic' style i think...
