It's the opposite with my brother (who is diabetic)... if they take his wisdom teeth out, it'll be with full sedation, in a hospital OR. (AFAIK, they haven't removed them yet, and likely won't unless they cause problems.) I was sedated, in the oral surgeon's office... but I had all four taken out at the same time.
