and so far, it's been tolerable. The actual extraction didn't hurt any, the bleeding is not *so* bad (though my mouth tastes like blood indeed) and the pain right now is constant, but not unbearable. No pain meds for me right now - doc didnt' actually prescribed any (she did say "call me if the pain gets too severe").
I haven't had the "cut skin, cut out a piece of jaw, get $deity forsaken tooth out" treatment yet. I will get it for both bottom teeth... though I don't really want to. I hear it's a fairly normal procedure, but if they're using a scalpel, I want to be put to sleep, which my doc won't do (since I'm diabetic). |
