When I had mine out I was only sore for the first day and a bit and they had to cut out a piece of my lower jaw and replace it with a bone graft. My pain tolerance isn't that high either. I was adamant about not wanting to feel or remember anything in the surgery (IV sedation is sooooo good). Seriously what's with all the horror stories?
