lots of people that have run into this sort of problem. She is very good at getting them a flight/cruse as cheaply as possible. She has, on several occasions, beat the price from the web sites. She laughs when someone, after several days of futile searching, calls her and she can get what they want in an hour. She says "They are not payed to do this. You don't see me doing my own taxes do you?" :)
So ...
1. Sort of yes. Last leg of our flight home was cancelled and they were re-routing us to another city to get home. My friend was traveling with me. It is amazing what flashing a travel agent ID does to airline people. :D
2. No, use a professional, they don't cost that much. There are a lot of deals advertised only to travel agents. :) |
