| The actual scientific reports are somewhat more reserved than the story which is being widely publicized through the mainstream news media.
The thing has a year of thirteen (terran) days; it's orbit is damned near inside its own primary's corona. Unlike our earth, most planets are (believed to be) much like Mercury; one "day" equals one "year" due to rotational mechanics, resulting in a planet with a permanent "sunside" and a permanent "darkside". We don't even know if the planet has a rocky core, or if it's just a snowball in space. Atmosphere? Again, not sure (being so close to its primary, it may have had all its atmosphere stripped away; no atmosphere, no liquid water).
