The send you a "nasty-gram" email saying that you are over the limit. and with Shaw, if you have their "unlimited" package, read the fine print. I got an email saying that I had used 3x the commercial bandwidth in a month on my home connection. The didn't seem impressed when I told them just to transfer the difference to my mother's account. She only uses her internet to send email jokes that have been forwarded to her. so her monthly bandwidth would fit on a floppy disk.
