That, and the slightly better contrast are the main points for the Samsung, yes. The tuner isn't really much of an issue, as my TV cable provider works only through a set-top box, so the tuner in the TV doesn't see much use anyway.
On the other hand, the Sharp is 600sFr (about 500$US) cheaper, plus, I get three years warantee on the Sharp, only two on the Samsung.
We're going to take a side by side look at the two tomorrow. If the difference in picture quality is evident, it'll be the Samsung. If not, I'll probably be going with the Sharp.
