Which means the picture in picture won't be able to show one digital channel while watching another digital channel. But having said that the same may be true of the sharp, that page doesn't give enough detail to know. Ignoring price I would probably go with the samsung, slightly better brightness than the sharp. But then personally I wouldn't buy any expensive consumer electronics right now, I'm planning to wait a couple of years until they have figured out how to solder reliably without using lead. The pb free stuff looks good on paper but some manufacturers may take a while to dial their process in correctly. Or maybe I'm just being paranoid.
