And the school does have a system for dealing with the students after the court system. Students who get DUIs (Driving under the influence) and DIPs (drunk in public) all go through that hearing board, which has a lot more leeway in sentencing (usually like a couple hours of community service). Most of us think that rape should go to the higher committee, whose only sentence is expulsion. |
