She was griping over 100 kilometers? Times like this illustrate how very different US perceptions of distance can be from European. I drive that far to see my parents a couple of times a month, and don't think anything of it. (This is the reason I've never blogged about my current job, laughable as it may be. As a CPA, I won't risk the recognition.)
