This is a labour matter, not a discrimination matter. Furthermore, it is not illegal to research your prospective employee online. Neither is it illegal to use said information in your evaluation if you have good reason to believe it true. The article does not state whether or not the 'blog content was weighted so much as to keep him out of the job. The article is a long piece of speculation in the motives of the company.
