I must find a job which lets me do that for money...
I'm just asking because I rode a racer with slicks in Bonn where they had excellent cycleways and sane car drivers on the road. I easily made such speeds, and faster. Since in Berlin I rarely used it :( Had to buy an MTB instead. After *some* acceleration and shifting of gears, I'm pretty speedy, too, but it takes longer. No comparison to the other lightweight... Some streets are in a really bad condition here (tree roots, blocked so you have to jump on the road, fissures, cobbles, ...), and some drivers' minds are, too. And the broken glass on the streets from the previous party nights... Well, no risk, no fun :/ |
