Children make the best soldiers; you can usually beat any sense of humanity out of them, and they're faster and more agile than adults. They're also readily available. clicky
Women, on the other hand, have an advantage in the sneakiness factor. I don't mean this mysoginistically (is that word?); most people don't expect women to be dangerous, and thus don't subject them to scruitiny. However, there have been reports of several female suicide bombers lately, including a 67 year old grandmother, and there was that wife in the hotel bombing in Jordan (the one that couldn't get her explosives to go off).
All of that being said, it is pretty atrocious that these refugees are simply being stuffed back in to the meat-grinder Pakistan helped create years ago. |
