Craigslist is nuts at times. by AndyA 2007-04-20 09:40:29
I just moved in with my GF and as is always the case it's the guys stuff that goes in the event of duplicates. In this case that's also the logical thing to do, most of my stuff is junk.

Most of the things we don't need are going to goodwill but there are a few bulky things which are harder to move. Normally the easiest way to get rid of them around here is to post on the free stuff section of craigslist.

This morning I posted 2 ads, one for a sofa bed & armchair, one for a medium-large rug of dubious taste.

The sofa I have yet to have a single reply to. The rug I was forced to take the post down after less than 15 minutes because my inbox was filling up with responses.

OK, I can see more demand for something easier to transport but even so I'm surprised in the difference in the level of responses.
