The boy did go to school today wearing blue jeans and a blue shirt. That, however, has more to do with the fact that I didn't see the note until after he was dressed today though than my specific revulsion to "CONFORM NOW" requests. Honestly though, I don't see how dressing a certain way means you are more or less sympathetic to a tragedy. I mean really... You don't have to scratch very much off the surface to realize that the gesture is meaningless.
