In no particular order, some influential and some just games I like(d):

1) Worms
2) Chuckie Egg
3) Golden Axe
4) Populus / (Or Civilization, one of those)
5) Mario Kart (SNES)
6) Streetfighter
7) C&C: Red Alert
8) Baldur's Gate II
9) Jungle Strike (etc.)
10) The Snowboarding one for PS2 (SFX-something?)

Worst... well there are many bad games, and I rarely remenber, but let's try:

1) Any game in which you control a tank (like-thing) in 1st-person view.
2) Sim City (any version).
3) An Olympics game (NES) in which most 'events' involve only hitting the buttons as fast as possible.
4) Gauntlet (whichever version I have on my mobile). It's just wrong to make an unplayable version of this classic.
