Tomorrow, April 20th has been declared "Orange and Maroon Effect" Day in honor of those killed at Virginia Tech. Please show your "Hokie Hope" by having your child wear Maroon and Orange to school as a way of showing our love and support to all those effected by this tragedy.
Thanks! That is a note sent home in my son's folder yesterday from his elementary school. I took great pains to type it exactly as it is written and to preserve formatting. Read it carefully. How many grammatical and style errors can you find? These are the people entrusted with educating my children? WTF??!! I'm seriously considering getting out a red pen, circling the errors, writing "D" at the top of the page, and sending it to the office. Maybe I should photocopy it and send it to the all the members on the school board. |
