It is an opinion gathered from several news articles in the past few years, the Penn and Teller Episode of BS regarding the Boy-scouts, and the opinions of a large number of Eagle Scouts on another forum that, while they love the camping and self sufficiency aspects, are now disgusted at the intolerance of the national offices.
