Anyway, Jesus was human. Whether or not "he was God" I'll leave to theologians. My belief is that he was not omniscient and didn't have all knowledge instantly at his disposal. He did have a private feed of info from God.

I have heard, but I can't give details, that "My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?" was a line from a song that any Hebrew would have learned as a child.
