and more importantly how not to handle them. Teaching kids to shoot young takes the mystery away. Children that learn how to handle firearms properly are less likely to misuse them. Children that learn about firearms from movies and the media have a very distorted view of them. I wasn't allowed to use it unsupervised until I was ten or so and that was only at my little range in the backyard. I didn't start running around in the woods by myself until I was fourteen.
