had no form of gun registry..... So, when it came time to turn them in, they had the lowest rate of turn in, and lots of HUGE mole issues in the back acres :-) Rumor has it there was not a 4" or 6" PVC fitting to be had in the area :-) the problem (aside from that pesky shall not be infringed) is that each such small reasonable step is then open to further tinkering and scope drift. today it's that Evil black rifle, tomorrow it's your sniper rile (deer hunting gun) and then it's education requirements (with little to none available at a high cost) and safety checks (in name only, onerous and capricious) and it's soon become too much trouble to exercise an individual right held to be inalienable.
