Our sysadmin mapped our 'My documents' folders to a server under his control, and properly backed up. He told us that we should put everything mission-critical in there, and we did. I confess that I kept some speculative work elsewhere at times, but as soon as it looked useful I'd copy it to the server. Stef's one of those who can't or won't find the server, despite repeated and detailed instructions.
