  Did you install MySQL from source? by ideur 2007-04-06 01:14:27
If so: go into the sourcedirectory; and type "make uninstall"

Install from pre-compiled binaries?
I would look into the package (MySQL.xxx.tgz or simmilar) and see where the installed files are. Delete from here "by hand".
Don't forget to make sure that the user and group mysql is deleted too.
