VivianC said "Here is Bill Maher a few hours later saying things would be better if Dick Cheney were dead". I would say that "I'm just saying if he did die, other people, more people would live." If you count less dead as being better then the origional claim is true. He doesn't say he wishes he was dead but he does say he thinks things would be better if he was. It's an opinion rather than a desire. Still it's better than Ann Coultier's childish name calling. Like Edwards would be any use if you wanted to start a fire.
