Where did I put my evil-computer-ward? I need to ward off some serious soul-sucking evil here!
My brother-in-law just sent me an email asking for an opinion. He's working with a small network that's been having some problems. The network consists of a router, a Windows ME computer, a Windows XP computer, and a Mac. Of these, the XP and the Mac are wireless - but the Mac is using Appletalk, which crashes the router.
Appletalk + Windows ME + Wireless = TROUBLE3
My advice to him? A short checklist of "make sure things seem to be working ok, try turning off appletalk..." followed by "...And then burn it. All. Twice." |
