Were you close to home, or following a regular route, when it happened? The odds increase in favor of someone targeting you if you were engaged in any sort of pattern behavior when the incident took place. If you were traveling on a road and/or at a time you don't usually travel, then the odds tip in favor of it being random or stray.
If you're being targeted, and it happened in broad daylight, in a well-traveled area, then whoever is targeting you is kind of stupid and therefore possibly stupid enough to be likely to try again soon. If it was twilight or crack of dawn and in a relatively secluded area, then they're smarter, and likely to lay low for a while. |
