their best interest and will allow them to continue following the herd without thinking. This way it is not their fault if something goes bad/wrong. This can be used for good and bad and is why blind obedience without thought is a bad thing. sheeple hate to think so, if there is a leader out there that will keep them from having to think or make decisions on their own...they will choose that one over someone that will ask them to, do the right thing, think for themselves or do something they feel they should not have to becasue it inconviences them.
To explain a bit more in depth as to how I see a great leader: A great leader knows when to Lead and also asks his people to think for themselves so that the ideas get even better. A great leader will also surround himself with people who challenge him/her and knows more about specific things than He/She does. A great leader knows what they *do not know* and finds people who do and deligates. A great leader is also willing to make hard decisions and stand by them based on the information at hand. Finally, The most important skill of a great leader is to listen, even when you disagree, so that you can learn more and make better decisions later. |
