Where will we find a great leader today? by Peace_man2007-03-05 09:45:01

world. The problem is that many of them say unpopular things about what needs to be done and are ignored or villanized for it. Look at history and see how many times a great leader has emerged after a crisis they predicted has happened, or the current leardership is removed for whatever reason. This has happend for both the good and bad. Take a look at what Churchill went through, or France at the beginning of WWII, or many others. Turmoil will eventually breed someone who will stand up and do what needs to be done...for good or ill.

I also take a slight issue with you being negative about U.S. politics in pot shots when the topic of this thread was about the world. If your topic had been a Great leader in the U.S. the pot shot would have been valid, talking aobut the world leaders IMO, it was not necessary.
