to support the hypothesis that a vehement, unshakable belief in (picking a hopefully tolerant example) the Flying Spaghetti Monster also corresponds with a chemical reaction.

Whether or not such is considered an "imbalance" that should be "corrected" is both a moral and ethical issue that (barring extremely specific cases) I'll happily sit on the fence on.

Doing otherwise deprives me of occasional humorous (and in most cases, harmless) entertainment.
