Doing business with family is usually not a good idea - and it sounds like you knew it already. Your dad sounds like a manipulative self-centered jerk - but maybe that's just my impression of what you describe. He also sounds like someone who doesn't have a clue technologically speaking, but is willing to believe anyone telling him what he wants to hear, rather someone with a clue. Is there any way to divorce your family? If you weren't related to them you'd be better off without them.
