(if you haven't already started the restore) As pointed out, there was some update that was breaking the genuine advantage, and was also causing other problems on several of our machines. The easiest solution we have found is to delete the contents of the c:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution directory and reboot the computer. This has fixed 100% of our problem computers with this problem.
