I would talk to the College councilor and financial aid people first and see what problems others have had in your situation and if you can handle the stress of working/College classes/new baby all at the same time depending on what your decision is.

On a side note, capping peoples salaries because of a lack of a bachelors annoys me in the extreme.... I know several incredible programmers who do not have a bachelors because they can program rings around those that do, just from experience and brain power/common sense.
