Quandary by tesla_koil 2007-03-05 07:51:54
Suppose: A man has a job as a developer earning an above average income for his field. Said man has child en route in less then 4 months.

path 1: Successful Development career, with cap offed earnings potential due to lack of 4 year degree. Attending night classes/online classes. time to complete degree 2-3 years depending on the college transfers.

path 2: Leave career for a 1 year hiatus and live off wifes earning potential , 6th year special ed instructor. about 20k less then what we would make under me and attend night classes at first college. time to complete degree 1 year.

earnings potential is the same from options. which is the most sensible route?
