I used my turbo solely to slow the machine down. From 16 to 8 Mhz, in the higher levels of tetris. No fancy 7-segments (which we later tweaked to read 99 and 113 Mhz, regardless of the real speed), only a single LED as you would expect from a handbrake :-)
