Only thing that puts me in a bad mood is when they take half an hour to get me water, 'cos I really can't keep eating without something to drink.
When I went, our 'wench' seemed to be working her tail off, yet remained cheerful. Slow with the water but you could tell she was supposed to keep to the schedule coordinated with the show, and it was New Year's so the place was packed. Sympathy won out over annoyance. The show was good, with more special effects than a RenFaire and jousting and fighting that seemed like taking all the shows scattered throughout the day at a Faire and stringing them together without a break. No more overacted than the format demands. I'll go again someday.
And yeah, I wanna root for the bad guy next time! :D |
